AHP Turns 30

Thank you to all who joined us for AHP’s 30 Year Anniversary Party on March 21st!

Our mental health clinic was abundant with old friends and new as we acknowledged both the journey of the past thirty years, and the destinations of the next thirty. We were really touched by the contributions to our photo project, “Faces of AHP,” our ever-expanding AHP timeline, and “Generations HIV,” the HIV Story Project. Stay tuned to our Facebook page to see more photos of the event and where we will be posting “Faces of AHP” pictures over the coming weeks.

A special thanks to our staff and Community Advisory Board, who came en masse to host and support the event, narrate AHP’s history and future, and convey AHP’s day-to-day magic. We are so proud to be on this journey with you.

In order to sustain our work moving forward, we have launched our $30 on the 30th fundraising drive. Fifteen generous donors have already joined our campaign by pledging a monthly donation to AHP. Please join them–and us.

Without you, we would not be here. With your continued commitment, we will provide HIV, substance use, and LGBTQ-affirming mental health services to the San Francisco community. On behalf of countless clients we have served over 30 years and the countless more we will reach with your support, thank you.

Check out videos from the event, including speeches by AHP staff, our board chair, and San Francisco Supervisor Scott Weiner, on Youtube and see coverage of the event in the Bay Area Reporter.
